Program Overview

The We Back The Fax Pass program is an initiative by We Back The Fax to encourage patronage and loyalty to businesses along East Colfax Avenue during the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) construction. Participants collect stickers from participating businesses to earn tiered rewards.

Participation

• Eligibility: The program is open to all individuals who wish to support Colfax businesses.

• Program sign-up: When you receive your Fax Pass, we will collect your name and email address to keep you in the loop and help track your progress.

• The We Back The Fax Pass: Participation requires a valid, physical “We Back The Fax Pass”

• If your Fax Pass is lost or stolen: You will resume your Colfax journey at the last prize tier you reached.

Earning Stickers

• Qualifying Purchase/Visit: To earn a sticker, you must make a qualifying purchase at a participating Colfax business. Specific criteria (e.g., minimum spend, specific item purchase) are determined by each business and may be found on the Participating Businesses webpage.

• Sticker Application: Present your Fax Pass to a staff member at a participating business at the time of purchase/visit to fill in the business name and receive your sticker. Stickers cannot be issued retroactively.

• Two Stickers Per Business: To encourage exploration and support for a wide range of businesses, participants can receive a maximum of two stickers from the same individual business throughout the duration of the program.

• One Sticker Per Transaction/Visit: Only one sticker can be earned per qualifying transaction or visit, regardless of the amount spent or items purchased.

Redeeming Rewards

• Tier Achievements: Rewards are earned based on the cumulative number of stickers collected, as outlined in the Prize Tiers section below and on the Fax Pass Prizes webpage.
• Redemption Process: To claim a reward, present your Fax Pass with the required number of stickers to a We Back The Fax team member at a Fax Pass pop-up event. Follow @WeBackTheFax to stay in the loop on upcoming events. 
• Can’t make it to any upcoming events? Reach out to colfaxbrtbizassist@gmail.com for details on how and where to redeem your hard-earned prizes.
• Prize Tier Stickers: You will not turn in your Fax Pass or its sticker pages upon redemption. Program administrators will apply a “Prize Sticker” to the designated pages in your Fax Pass to track your redeemed tiers.

Prize Tiers

The number of stickers required to achieve each prize tier is subject to change as prize inventory is managed and becomes available. No exchanges or monetary values will be allowed.

• Tier 1: The Colfax Crawler – 6 stickers
• Tier 2: The BRT Believer – 14 stickers
• Tier 3: The Neighborhood Champion – 26 stickers
• Tier 4: The Colfax Legend – 40 stickers

• Program Duration: The We Back The Fax Pass program will run for the duration of Colfax BRT construction, or as otherwise announced on the official program website.
• Program Modifications: We Back The Fax reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the program, its rules, participating businesses or rewards at any time, with updates posted on the official program website.
• No Cash Value: Stickers and rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Final Decision: We are committed to making the We Back The Fax Pass a fun and fair experience for every participant and business on Colfax. All decisions regarding eligibility and prize redemption are subject to verification and confirmation by We Back The Fax administrators.

Terms for Participating Businesses

Business Responsibility: If you choose to register your business in the We Back The Fax Pass program, you are agreeing to train your staff on the program and keep them informed of your sticker qualification. Your business must adhere to the program’s rules including sticker distribution as outlined in Section 3 “Earning Stickers” (above).

The We Back The Fax Pass program is all about rallying community support for our incredible local, small businesses during the BRT construction. To participate, your business must meet the following qualifications:

1. Publicly facing (“brick-and-mortar”) physical location within one block of Colfax Avenue between Broadway and I-225
2. Independent and/or locally owned
